SARC provides free small group peer tutoring to students enrolled in a variety of undergraduate courses offered each semester at UCF. One-on-One Peer Tutoring

One-on-one peer tutoring is available for students enrolled in a variety of undergraduate courses. These sessions lasting either 30-minutes or 1-hour, are conducted exclusively online and require advance appointments, which can be scheduled through the Penji app or website. Please note that appointments are limited to courses we support and for which you are currently registered.

Express Tutoring: Subjects & Learning Skills

Express Tutoring
No appointment needed—starting fall 2026, you can drop in during Express Tutoring hours for help with a supported course subject or a learning skill such as time management, organization, study strategies, or test preparation. Learning skills support was formerly offered through ACE consultations. Join the queue to receive approximately 20–25 minutes of fast, focused support from an available tutor. A tutor may assist students with similar topics together. Availability varies, so review the current hours before visiting.

Supplemental Instruction (SI)

Supplemental Instruction (SI) offers a series of weekly study sessions for students enrolled in historically challenging courses. Led by SI Leaders, students who have previously excelled in the course, these sessions provide collaborative environments to deepen understanding of course material and develop effective study strategies. SI Leaders attend the classes they support, ensuring they are well-versed in current content and expectations. Participation in SI is voluntary and open to all students seeking to enhance their learning experience.

Academic Success Workshops

ACE Coaching
Each semester, the Student Academic Resource Center (SARC) offers all UCF students the opportunity to enhance their learning and study skills through a series of Academic Success Workshops. Topics include test preparation, time management, textbook reading, note-taking, and more. Workshops are live-streamed and recorded; recordings are available on the SARC YouTube channel.
